Sukh Sagar Hospital is the result of a journey undertaken by the doctor couple - Dr. Amar Jeet Singh Nagpal and Dr. Balwinder Kaur. Starting from a small, one room clinic in Baba Sahib Chowk in the walled city in 1983, their practice took shape in the form of their first hospital - "Nagpal Nursing Home" in 1988, which runs successfully till date. Joined by Dr. Jasdeep Singh in 1991, the hospital became a household name in the vicinity of the Golden Temple. Foreseeing the need of a good multi-speciality hospital in the civil lines area, the core team decided it was time to expand. A small hospital on Maqbool Road was acquired in 2001 and "Sukh Sagar Hospital" was born.
