A distinguished Ophthalmologist by profession, Dr. Raghuram A is a Retina specialist from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

He completed his medical graduation (MBBS) from Madras Medical College in 1990 and Diploma in Ophthalmology (DO) from the same college in 1996. He successfully completed his DNB in Ophthalmology from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai in the year 2000.

Post completion of DNB, Dr. Raghuram A joined Aravind Eye Hospital Coimbatore as Medical Officer. He further pursued Fellowship in Retina and became a consultant in the department of Vitreo Retina in 2002.

In 2009, Dr. Raghuram A started visiting various leading hospitals in Tamil Nadu such as J M Hospital (Pollachi), Arasan Eye Hospital (Erode), Erode Eye Diagnostic and Laser Centre (Erode) and PSG Hospital & Medical College (Coimbatore).

His consultation can be sought at Shri Andaver Eye Care and Retina Centre at Pollachi, which he established in December 2013. Centre is well equipped and capable to perform major surgeries for Retinal disorders.
