SHALYA JOINT CARE  center situated at B-18 shahpura Bhopal.This is the only dedicated center for Joint Replacement in Bhopal.Dr. Narendra Kumar who is the founder of Shalya has passed M.S in Orthopedic from Gandhi Medical College Bhopal in 1989.He did his post P.G training in advanced orthopedic surgery at Kovai Medical Center Coimbatore and served as chief consultant in orthopedics at Meenakshi mission hospital Madurai.He has the distinction of pioneering many new orthopedic surgical techniques and has around 6000 operation to his credit.Of these more than 1000 surgeries are of joint replacement.

Shalya Joint Care state of the art operation theater and equipment required for joint replacement surgeries and Arthroscopic operation. Among these are the Latest Digital CR system for better resolution of X-rays.Equipped with unique scannogram software which helps in preoperative planning and post operative assessment of joint replacement patient.The supporting X-ray machine is 300 mA high frequency that ensure less radiation to the patient.Latest power tools,Anesthesia work station and a complete Arthroscopy set  is available for doing knee and shoulder arthroscopic surgeries.Admission facility comprises of a well ventilated General ward with eight beds,Five private room and two post operative ICU beds.All the beds have Central supply of oxygen gas and vacuum.

Operation facility is the Highlight of this center because it has a state of the art O.R complex with TWIN operation theaters.The main operation theater is “MODULAR LAMINAR FLOW THEATER” which helps in achieving Zero infection.Supported by a VOLTAS make A.H.U of 8.75 tons the LAMINAR FLOW unit has three HEPA filters to provide cooling as well as bacteria free air exchange in the operation theater.It is at par with the metro standards to cater toteily highly specialized field of Joint Replacement operation.
