Kolhapur Cancer Centre (KCC) was established in 2003 by a dedicated young dynamic Cancer Surgeon Dr. Suraj B.Pawar with a vision of building a comprehensive Cancer Care Centre providing cancer treatment & services to the patients under one roof.

Dr. Pawar did his MBBS & MS from the prestigious Seth G.S.Medical College and KEM Hospital,Mumbai. He did his specialisation in Cancer Surgery at the famous Tata Memorial Hospital,Mumbai and later Fellowship in Thoracic Surgery at the world renowned Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, USA. Dr.Pawar followed his inner urge to practice in a rural region where he can serve the most needy cancer patients, for whom the cancer treatment is not easily accessible. Supported ably by Dr. Reshma S. Pawar, Kolhapur Cancer Centre (KCC) soon became a world-class Cancer Care Centre.

A Tertiary Cancer Care unit, Kolhapur Cancer Centre (KCC) is now offering services to the patients for over a decade,and KCC is one of the leading and most comprehensive Cancer Centres in South-West India.
