Amrita Hospital is named after our beloved mother Dr. Amrita Jain, lady of principal and strong character, who dedicated her life for health of millions of people.

The Chairman Dr. Vinamra V Jain and Vice Chairman Dr. Anupma V Jain of Amrita Hospital have done their graduation (MBBS) from S.S. Medical College, Rewa. Further they went for Post-Graduate studies (MS/MD) to Ahmedabad, Mumbai, London and Germany.

Although highly educated, qualified and successful they decided to bring meaning to their life, beyond money and thus decided to come back to their homeland Umaria. To serve humanity, improve the healthcare of its people and attain higher spiritual meaning to their life. And so Amrita Hospital, Umaria was born in 2005 with blessings of our father Dr. Vinay Jain.

Amrita Hospital Umaria in last 9 Yrs has achieved many milestones. We have performed more than 10,000 surgeries successfully, delivered hundreds of newborns, saved innumerable mothers from dying from complications of pregnancy. Introduced Laparoscopy & Endoscopic services. Gave new dimensions to hi-tech modern anaesthesia because of which from newborn to 90 years old patients could be safely operated. Brought new dimensions to 3D/4D Sonography & blood test reporting and doing so elevated the quality and standards of healthcare services.
