WellSpan York Hospital in US is studying about “Chronic insomniacs”. This study is to measure the impact of "Heartfulness Meditation" on insomnia, which is showing potential results. Chronic insomnia is analysed for 28 participants and the study is completed in 8 weeks of time which has been linking to the practice of "Heartfulness Meditation" as an invasions to help with insomnia.
Many people have not enough sleep with annoyance, fretfulness and depression. Adult population mostly suffers from sleep problem and have chronic insomnia.
Chronic Insomnia among children and teenagers
Chronic Insomnia results in circadian rhythm disorders and is a common problem for children and teenagers because of the computer games, internet and television. A study on this resulted in obesity, cognitive impairment and emotional disturbances.

Chronic Insomnia in adults leads to many health problems such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, nervousness, sadness, aging early and alcohol addiction. Because of this many Individuals may finally impact society in terms of productivity loss and increased health costs.

During sleep, there is a reduction in heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate and minute ventilation, and there is decreased oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide elimination.
